About Effiqs
Effiqs is a digital marketing agency that works with over 700 freelancers across Europe, North America, and South America. These freelancers are engaged in temporary assignments and projects.
The Challenge
In recent years, Effiqs has experienced significant growth, partly due to its expansion into new countries. With this growth, the number of freelancers also increased, making it increasingly difficult for project managers to maintain an overview. When the group exceeded 500 freelancers, it became clear that matching the right person to the right assignment was becoming more time-consuming. There was insufficient insight into the freelancers' skills, meaning their talents were not being fully utilized. This lack of oversight resulted in project managers spending excessive time manually searching for and matching the right freelancers.
The Goals
Effiqs aimed to:
- Automatically map and keep freelancers' skills up to date.
- Translate temporary assignments and projects into the required skills to enable faster and more effective matching.
- Provide project managers with better insight into available talent and simplify the matching process to save time.
The Solution
Together with Effiqs, we developed a customized matching platform. Project managers can now easily add assignments and projects, including the required skills. The platform instantly provides an overview of freelancers who best match in terms of skills, availability, and rates.
Freelancers, in turn, can see which assignments align well with their profile and express their interest directly through the platform.
The Results
- 2 FTE saved: The automated matching process now reduces the workload equivalent to 2 full-time employees.
- 4 out of 5 satisfaction score: The platform has received a 4 out of 5 satisfaction rating from freelancers.
